A-cero social housing selection

The architecture studio A-cero, led by Joaquín Torres and Rafael Llamazares, presents an images selection of A-cero Tech social housing.

The construction takes place in a plot with an area of   1121,14 m2. It is a eight-storey edifice with two levels under ground used as garages and junk rooms. The façade is made of limestone and pottery pieces. It has been created with a modern and simple design according to the quality, comfort and affordable price which the whole construction has been built.

It is a two-family modular house with two levels and with a facade that has been made with reinforced concrete panels combining brown with gray tones.

At the first level we can find the the living room – kitchen and a closet with a staircase leading to the second level, where are the most private areas.

The block is solved with a single core of vertical communication to optimize the volume occupation. In addition, this arrangement allows all homes to overturn their stays to the exterior.

A-cero presents three different residential typologies based on the number of bedrooms (1,2 and 3). The base module consists of living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. From there the modules are added.

The materials used on the facades are white EURONIT and black glass,  with large windows for a better use of light in this wonderful coast city.

Housing raised in a single floor level, with a domestic program distribution into 2 distinct bands. All the properties are low garden with an outdoor area of 20m2.

The A-cero´s proposal is based on a residential complex distributed in two areas (4 and 5). The volumetric composition of the buildings is based on two folded flats.

To generate a sense of continuity and coherence between the two residential areas, A-cero proposes the same materials in the finishes of the facades of the two buildings: concrete, glass and lacquered aluminum composite panel in brown.

It is a project of 2,000  modular houses organized in groups of 4, all in one floor level.

The total area of each apartment is of 54m2 and the materials used for the facade are concrete and glass.
