New interior design proposal for the common areas of the A-cero home in Sevilla

The architecture studio A-cero, directed by Joaquin Torres and Rafael Llamazares, presents a new interior design proposal for an A-cero house in Seville. In today’s post we show the designs corresponding to the common use areas.

HALL

SECTIONS

VIEWS

In the hall we find two highlighted elements: the skylight coming from upstairs and that we see in as a half moon. And secondly, the sculpture which reigns in the space formed by circular structures of different sizes and inclinations which overlap each other.

LIVING ROOM

SECTIONS

VIEWS

The living room features a fully white finish with an indirect and spotted lighting, which are in the spotlights in the ceiling and in the skylight that comes from upstairs.

To break up the monochromatic white color we have introduced various elements in other colors. A painting framed in dark gray panel and furniture in dark brown and gray tones.

DINING ROOM

SECTIONS

VIEWS

For the dining room we decided to use a light gray color in combination with black glass black and smoked panels. We can see a black glass cavity in the false ceiling, in which we can locate, the lighting of LED light strips and several glass panels, which play a decorative role.

In order to break with these neutral colors we added some vertical paintings in warm colors in several walls .

KITCHEN

SECTIONS

VIEWS

We find an open space where we can locate a kitchenette and a dining area. The stay is made of a combination of white and salmon with stone and has indirect lighting from the ceiling cavity and directly from the spotlights in the ceiling.

In the center of the stay we locate an island where we find the stone kitchen hood, the fires and an adjacent structure that serves as a high table for three guests.

In the dining area are located a table finished in stone, with chairs by Mies Van der Rohe for Alivar and, a bank that emerges from the wall. On this table we see a strip of LED lights spanning the space from one side to another.

CINEMA ROOM

SECTIONS

VIEWS

In the movie theater we have the white color as the main, with the introduction of stone elements and one of the walls with dark vertical lines.

Through the room we can see a stone showcase on which we see a structure of the same material in which is disposed the television screen. Stresses in this room the indirect lighting that provide the backlit alabaster coffee tables.

SOLARIUM

SECTIONS

VIEWS

The cover has been used to create a chill out zone, completely finished in stone, thus accompanying the same material of the facade. The furniture is also finished in stone, and the padded elements that are introduced are also the same color, giving a monochromatic feel to this area.

We find several areas on this deck: highlights the jacuzzi in the center of the space, which also has seats that are created by the extension of the structure.

We located two seating areas, one in which we see a circular structure to sit and another in which is located a sofa that follows a sinuous design. In this case the lighting is found backlit under the furniture structures.

GARAGE

SECTIONS

VIEWS

The garage is finished in a combination of white and shades of brown. On the light brown walls  we see vertical lines arranged on a darker brown, and alternating between floor and ceiling are located black lines forming squares marking the parking space, also numbered on the wall.
