FLOOR PLAN

As mentioned above, the nursery has two areas, a service area and other for children.

In the service area of 290 m2 we can find a hall, a storage room for strollers, one teacher’s classroom of 20 m2, the head office, a toilet, a multipurpose room of 40 m2, two warehouses, one menswear and one female, each of 9 m2, a laundry, a kitchen of 46 m2, a garbage room, a facility room, and nearly 60 m2 of circulations.

With regard to the children’s area of 680 m2, we find 12 classrooms with toilet and cribs rooms, with an area of over 50 m2 each. In addition, another 70 m2 of circulation in this area.

VIEWS

In both proposals the nursery consists of two modules connected by a corridor. These two modules correspond to the aforementioned areas. The building further west is intended for common use, while the second module houses the children classrooms.

PROPOSAL 1

Both modules are made of reinforced concrete panels and follow a design of straight and pure lines and inclined planes.

The colours are a constant both inside and outside, very consistent with the purpose of this type of architecture. Thus, the white panels are dressed in colorful shades that run the modules.

Have sought the maximum use of light, having wide modules and opened to the outside through the use of black glass. The overlap of the facade also responds to this nedd of more internal light.

PROPOSAL 2

This second proposal follows the same architectural structure than the first, the only change is the situation and the combination of colors.

In this option the colors in the modules have been introduced in the side walls, compared to the previous option that the colors were in the front facade.
