DENTAL CLINIC DESIGNED BY A-CERO IN LEÓN

Today we remember this project of reform of premises and design for dental clinic that the study of architecture A-cero, led by Joaquín Torres and Rafael Llamazares, made for the Dental Clinic Ezedent located in Leon.

Ezedent has relied on the A-cero studio to give a new dynamic and innovative image in its new leonese clinic. Below we show the images of the premises before and after the project designed by the study.

GROUND FLOOR

The access is situated on the ground floor where the studio A-cero proposes to distribute the existing surface in different environments: reception, two independent waiting rooms, a children’s waiting room and storage.

BASEMENT

In the lower level we find a main hall, a reception-administration area, a children’s waiting room and cabinet for children, three independent cabinets, laboratory, X-ray room, surgery room, hall, office, room facilities, elevator, office, two toilets, and a Zen garden.

EXTERIOR VIEW

The facade is opened to the outside with a continuous glass cloth that allows to see the reception areas of the clinic, including the advance of basement floor that shows the access staircase.

INTERIOR VIEW

In the access floor, where the reception and the waiting rooms are located, the white predominates in walls and ceiling. The points of lights are solved with led strips of light projected from the sculptural walls that serve as a division of the different spaces.

This level is visually communicated with the outside thanks to the glass cloths, which also allow the entrance of natural light.

The monochrome that reigns in this level is broken when entering the children’s waiting room, where different colors have been used in the walls to create a game environment.

In the basement there is a division between the clinic’s own work environment and the waiting and administrative areas. The white color in walls and ceiling also predominates, in contrast to the gray finish of the floor.

This division of the spaces is achieved thanks to a matte gray glass where a black frame frames the cabinets that are located behind it. These cabinets are designed as gray matte boxes numbered, wrapped in blue glass panels.

Vaya reforma más impresionante, y más viendo el estado previo del local!!! Además de encajar perfectamente con su función; desde luego una buena forma de mejorar esas incómodas visitas al dentista. Enhorabuena!!!
